Report of ECOQUIZ 14th and
18th AUGUST 2017
At the beginning of the semester, as per the interest shown by the
students of Economics in BA (Prog.), Kautilya Parishad organized ECO QUIZ. This
event is a quiz competition between the students of economics discipline of BA
(Prog.). The teams were formulated by including a student from each semester in
a team, so that no team has any distinct advantage. Due to the huge
participation of students, a preliminary round was held on August 14, 2017. The
preliminary round was conducted by Ms. Deepika Sharma and Mr. Gautam Jha. Top 6
teams from this round were finalized and they competed for the prizes on August
18, 2017.
The final round saw healthy rivalry among teams and vociferous support
from other students. After four rounds three winning teams were finalized. On
this occasion, college Principal, Dr. R. K. Gupta took out time and spoke to
the students. Cash prizes and certificates were handed out to the winning teams
and other participants by the Principal and Ms. Geeta Ahuja, Convenor of the
Kautilya Parishad. She also gave the vote of thanks.
